WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECKS(FOR VOLUNTEERS + AGE MANAGERS)
A NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) is a Government requirement for all Surf Lifesaving volunteers, including water safety. This helps to ensure the safest environment possible for all of our children. You MUST have a WWCC to be a volunteer at South Narrabeen SLSC.

- Register for a volunteer’s WWCC number (it’s free), on the NSW Government WWCC website. This will give you a registration number.
- Take this registration number with your ID to a Service NSW Centre to validate your identification.
- You will then be sent your WWCC number. It can take up to 4 weeks so please get started now.
- Once this is done, please forward a copy of your approved form from Service NSW to [email protected]. The form will have your name, WWC number, type of clearance and the expiry date.
