CULTURAL INCLUSION
Thank you for being involved in South Narrabeen SLSC. As your Club President I wanted to thank you for being part of our club, and take the opportunity to highlight that our Club promotes and supports the SLSA Member Protection Policy. We are committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of all our members, and are dedicated to providing a safe environment for all members who participate in our activities and events.
In January each year South Narrabeen SLSC host the Bush to Beach program, where we bring 40 indigenous children and their carers from the Brewarrina Region in north-west NSW 600km to visit our Club and the northern beaches. This event is supported by many club members who are committed to supporting our existing members and visitors to our club and we encourage all members to welcome this group and support the program.
As part of our commitment to the Member Protection Policy and the Safeguarding Children and Young People, South Narrabeen SLSC opens our to all people who wish to participate regardless of age, gender, cultural and linguistic background or sexual orientation. Thank you for your support in welcoming all members – new and old into our fantastic club.
