DUCKS FOR DUCKIES 2024
CALLING ALL MEMBERS;
Can you spare some time for this important fundraiser? This is a great day for families to have a bit of fun together and raise important funds for the club.
“Ducks for Duckies” is a chance for South Narrabeen SLSC to fundraise money through Surf Life Savings partnership with Westfield Warringah Mall. The term “Ducks for Duckies” comes from the IRB being known as a rubber ducky and being one of the most expensive pieces of equipment used in Surf Life Saving.
Our annual Ducks for Duckies fundraising event as we be fill the iconic Dolphin Fountain with over 3,000 rubber ducks. For just a $2 donation you’ll be able to catch a duck to see if you’re an instant prize winner (there’s hundreds of prizes up for grabs) plus everyone who takes part will go into the draw to win a $500 Westfield Gift Card. Plus for $5 you’ll be able to purchase a duck to take home with you. 100% of funds raised will be donated so come along and support our local SLS clubs.
As well as raising money for your Club through the “ducks” Clubs we are invited to run a BBQ on the day, selling sausage sandwiches and drinks, Westfield Warringah Mall will supply the BBQ and food stocks for both days. All money raised will go straight to the Club that is managing the ducks and BBQ fundraiser on that day
This is a great opportunity for our Club to have some fun and raise funds.
